Last weeks' Washington Times aricle titled Free Ramos and Compeon has brought in hundreds of passionate, interesting email responses from across America. We selected the following for your viewing:
As a retired Police Captain I can assure you that there are more holes in this prosecution than you can even begin to count. But, then again this is not the first time this administration has used the US Attroney's office for political purposes. A life long Republican thinks this group makes Clinton look absolutely honest.

Seems that this Johnny sutton character may be a closet cop hater. Wonder if the jury was denied proper instructions and explaination of the law and circumstances. This seems to be the case more and more as juries become little more than robotic pawns of the prosecution and courts in federal cases. From what I can tell from the informaton I have, I would have shot to stop the vehicle as well as it was a continuing threat to life and limb being operated by someone who was using the vehicle to purposely cause death or injury to others. The prosecutors are way out of line in my current opinion and the jury was mislead or ignorant of all facts and circumstances. Paul Wood, Deputy Sheriff, Investigator CA (ret)

Charlie Reese was right all along. Bad people have bad government. There isn't a whit of difference from one polititian to the next. And from my point of view; they are all treasonous New World Order Collegians. We need term limits and a new party.

I am bothered by the virtually unanimous reports that the two agents filed a materially false report and concealed evidence of the shooting. I personally think law enforcement officers should be allowed to shoot suspects who won't stop fleeing when warned. I knew personally a local policeman who was killed when a suspect obtained possesion of his partner's sidearm during a physical struggle and shot my aquaintance. I don't think officers should have to take that risk to subdue an uncooperative suspect.
